Project Overview:
The construction of a 10MW solar power plant in Vavnathiv, Batticaloa marks a significant step toward sustainable energy development in Sri Lanka. This project involves the installation of spun piles to provide a robust foundation for the solar structures.
Methodology:
The pile driving works utilize advanced techniques including:
Vibro Hammer with Boring: A precise method to ensure accurate pile placement with minimal environmental disturbance.
Drop Hammer: Used for final pile driving to achieve the desired bearing capacity.
Progress Update:
The pile driving works commenced on 27th November 2024 and are being executed with a focus on efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
